Department of Auto Mobile Engineering

The Department of Automobile Engineering was established in the year 2004, and it offers three year full time D.A.E course. The goal of the department is know how in the field of Automobile vehicle body engineering, chasis and transmission and Automotive engines using advance techniques and prepares the engineers to face the global challenges that are taking in their field. The department has signed MOUs with few leading industries to develop industry institute for the benefit of students.

Activities For Students

Value added short-term courses are conducted during vacations and in the evenings to enhance the hands on training of the students. Some of courses are,Inplant trainings are mandatory for our students during the summer vacations. Some of the companies are

To enhance the technical knowledge of our students, Industrial visits are being arranged times in a semester on top leading Auto Industries. We have formed an association namely ‘MECHNANIMOUS’ (Mech/AUTO/MET) students various paper presentation Association) to conduct various paper presentation. Apart from this, quiz program, Aptitude teat, Technical Test, Paper Presentation, project presentation are conducted regularly to enhance the skill of the students.

Achievents

In our Automobile department 100% result has been produced in Board Exams conducted by Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai. More than 90% of students have secured first class with honors. More than 75% of the passed students have joined in heading Engineering colleges for higher Education.

Placements

Our students have placed in SUNDARAM CLAYTON_TVS Groups,Pricol,Bangalore Coimbatore, Sakthi Auto Components, vijayamangalam and more leading Auto industries.
